"Never Disappoints" Never disappoints. The food, ambience, price, and most importantly - the service. Adriana has been fantastic. She makes our every visit an enjoyable evening at Lavidas.

"Cozy Little Restaurant" We’ve been to Lavidas four or five times now and it’s always great. The hospitality, welcoming and service are all very friendly and efficient. There’s no better value in the city than at this cozy little restaurant on 4th Avenue. The proprietors really make an effort to make your experience enjoyable.

“Restaurant offers something so rare” This lovely restaurant offers something so rare in Vancouver -- excellent French food for a reasonable price. They have a superb 3-course prix fixe menu for $38. I had the French Onion soup, beef cheek and Creme Brulee. All delicious. Friends of mine had the Mango Salad, duck, and KD's crumble a la mode. Everyone loved their meals. Service and ambiance were stellar. And BONUS, it was not loud. Definitely returning.  

"Bravo Lavidas for being Consistent" Nice variety of items on the menu, however, the fixed price 3 course menu always wins out for us. There’s lots of variety in the fixed price menu to give one a sample of what is on offer. Food is prepared perfectly, nicely presented on the plate, and generously portioned making it terrific value. The Duck Confit is a favourite. Good to note is that on Wednesday when we went it was 1/2 price for the bottles of wine making it an even more attractive choice for celebrating a special occasion. We like bringing friends and family here and introducing them to this local establishment that deserves our support and recognition. Bravo Lavidas for being consistent over the years we have been going there.  

"Lovely dinner with Friends" We had a lovely dinner with friends last evening and had a very attentive server from Slovakia . Three of us chose the three course menu and we especially enjoyed the onion soup, mango salad and the beef. The food was very good and so plentiful we were unable to finish the first two courses. Our waitress packaged up our leftover food so beautifully. What a treat. Will be back!    

"Service is always excellent" What a great little restaurant. Casual, welcoming spot with fantastic food and value for your money. Their prix fixe menu is so affordable when most restaurants are charging $30 for a plate of pasta which you can whip up at home (cacio e pepe, puttanesca,carbonara, Sugo alamatriciana)with little ingredients. Their seafood pasta comes out piping hot loaded with salmon, mussels and clams. Duck confit is yummy, braised beef etc. Actually ALL their main dishes, French onion soup and crumble are served piping which I think is really important! Service is always excellent, Jordan will not steer you wrong with food or wine selection on Wednesdays.  

"Enjoyed our meal" We really enjoyed our meal at Lavidas. The food was very good and the portions were very generous. The waiter suggested a reasonable priced wine which we really enjoyed. The noise level was low and we could have a pleasant conversation. We will definitely go back.
