"Main Courses Perfectly Balanced and delicious"


Excellent choices from a full and varied menu, with an extensive wine list to complement. Our server was attentive, friendly and patient, and seating was comfortable and well-spaced from fellow diners. Every mouthful of our three different main courses was perfectly balanced and delicious, and salad and dessert could also not be faulted. In all, a perfect evening at a little gem of a local restaurant!

"Best Seafood Linguini" Very yummy cervichi to start. Good duck confit. Best seafood linguine ever had. Half price wine on Wednesday a great deal. Great nectarine crumble a la mode and London fog creme brulee. This is our second visit. But definitely go back and bring friends.

"Hidden Gem" The restaurant is a hidden gem on West 4th Ave.. We have tried their Pre Fix Menu and were surprised with the excellent value. All the three courses are so delicious. We will definitely return to try other dishes on the menu.

"Cozy Restaurant" This is a wonderful peaceful cozy restaurant with outstanding service and delicious prix fixe menu. The food was delicious, well presented, with generous portions.    

“Food perfectly Prepared”


Nice variety of items on the menu, however, the fixed price 3 course menu always wins out for us. There’s lots of variety in the fixed price menu to give one a sample of what is on offer. Food is prepared perfectly, nicely presented on the plate, and generously portioned making it terrific value. The Duck Confit is a favourite. Good to note is that on Wednesday when we went it was 1/2 price for the bottles of wine making it an even more attractive choice for celebrating a special occasion. We like bringing friends and family here and introducing them to this local establishment that deserves our support and recognition. Bravo Lavidas for being consistent over the years we have been going there.
